Job description:

As the Senior Hybrid Control & Integration Engineer for a growing powertrain consultancy you will work as part of a development team on hybrid production or demonstrator programs. We are seeking an experienced engineer with pro-active attitude, self-learner and highly motivated. You will be responsible of developing, validating and signing off the future generation of hybrid systems for passenger vehicles. 

Our client is the world's largest independent company for development, simulation and testing technology of powertrains (hybrid, combustion engines, transmission, electric drive, batteries and software) for passenger cars, trucks and large engines.

Senior Hybrid Control & Integration Engineer responsibilities include: 
 - Development of the control for various features of the hybrid application (e.g.: energy management, control and refinement of parallel and electric mode transitions etc.).
 - Develop calibration which takes into account system tolerances and driver behaviour.
 - Electronic integration in vehicle prototypes.
 - Devise and execute customer clinics to assess acceptability and performance.
 - Devise and execute the customer testing of the hybrid control and calibration (testing environments include SIL, HIL, LabCar, powertrain dyno cells, vehicle)
 - Ensure safety and customer requirements are satisfied by the solution.

Senior Hybrid Control & Integration Engineer Essential Skills/Experience: 

Essential:
 - Engineering/Science Degree (or equivalent).
 - Automotive engineering knowledge / experience.
 - Experience with Systems Engineering and Quality tools
 - Excellent time management and communication skills. 
 - Excellent presentation skills.

Preferable:
 - Experience with hybrid control and calibration (Mathworks, dSpace, Vector , ETAS tools)
 - Experience with vehicle integration, CAN communication.
 - Full V-cycle automotive development experience.
