Job description:

As a Graduate Hybrid Control & Integration Engineer for a leading powertrain consultancy you will work as part of a development team on hybrid production or demonstrator programs. Our client is the world's largest independent company for development, simulation and testing technology of powertrains (hybrid, combustion engines, transmission, electric drive, batteries and software) for passenger cars, trucks and large engines.

You will rotate amongst different projects to get an overview of the work undertaken within the Electronics and Controls department in areas such as:
 - Hybrid and electric vehicles technologies
 - Conventional powertrain technologies 
 - Advanced Driver Assistance Systems 
 - Fuel economy and performance  
 - After-treatment and emissions 
 - Data analysis, modelling and simulation, systems integration and calibration 
program for training, career and personal development will be given at the start. 

Graduate Hybrid and Integration Engineers Responsibilities include: 
 - Support customer and internal research projects 
 - Support activities such as: 
 - Vehicle testing and calibration 
 - Electronic integration 
 - Powertrain systems modelling 
 - Data analysis 
 - Prepare presentation material 
Graduate Hybrid and Integration Engineer Essential Skills/Experience:
 - Engineering/Science MSc Degree (or equivalent) 
 - Excellent problem solving skills 
 - Solid background in mathematics and physics 
 - Flexible, dynamic and self-motivated 
 - Proficient in MS Office 

Preferable 
 - Good automotive knowledge and motivation 
 - CAN tools (e.g. Canalyzer, Canoe) 
 - Matlab/Simulink experience 
 - Other programming languages, e.g. C++, Java 
 - Other simulation tools, e.g. AVL Cruise/Boost, Dymola 
 - Vehicle/component testing experience 
 - Sharepoint administration 
 - Driving License
