Job description:

This is a unique opportunity for a Passive Safety Specialist to join the premier sports car brand. You will be based in the heart of the company at the prestigious state of the art Maranello facility. The work is purely working on the GT V8/ V12 and development road cars. Typical projects are 2-3 years and will cover working with all major stake holders in a unified car delivery. 

Following the development of passive safety components such as airbags and seat belts, your responsibilities will include:
 - Management of the component development plan
 - Alignment with the component implementation plan
 - Achievement of project milestones
 - Verification of compliance of the component performance
 - Check the drawings emission
 - Check the integration of in-car component
 - Pursue the testing plan
 - Preparation of the construction specifications of the test objects
 - Preparation of test specifications
 - Analysis of post test components
 - Drafting of the test report
 - interfacing with other company functions involved
 - Interface with the component application team
 - Presidium of the preparation of test objects
Your Profile:
 - Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautical)
 - Experience in the development of passive safety components (front airbags and / or side) and / or in the field of FEM calculations in static linear field and / or non-linear dynamic (crash simulations)
 - Knowledge of simulation software RADIOSS, MADYMO
 - Knowledge of data analysis software: DIADEM, HyperGraph
 - Knowledge of crash analysis software: hyper view
 - Orientation to result and problem solving
 - Good interpersonal skills, communication and working in cross team
 - Fluent English. Fluent Italian or willing to learn
