Job description:

As a Gasoline Engine and Vehicle Calibration Engineer for a prestigious global automotive 1st tier supplier you will calibrate the engine management for projects with prestigious customers. This challenging role requires a degree qualified engineer that understands gasoline engines, vehicle functions and emission composition. You will be representing the company to clients, so excellent technical knowledge, presentation and communication skills are essential. Key responsibilities of a Gasoline Engine and Vehicle Calibration Engineer include: 
- Take responsibility for calibration work packages assigned to you.
- Planning and executing of appropriate tests at either engine dyno or in vehicle.
- Optimization of the corresponding control functions to defined criteria to meet customer, legislative and quality targets.
- Delivery of calibration datasets to project milestones.
- Collaborate effectively with project team and customer.
- Participation of international test trips (e.g. Spain, USA, Sweden, ...)
- Presentation, discussion and approval of the results at customer.

Your profile:

Essential:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electronic or related engineering
- Experienced in gasoline engine calibration
- Base know -how of engines, vehicle functions and emission composition
- Knowledge and experience of calibration tools e.g. INCA 
- Clean driving licence and valid passport
- Be organised and have the ability to multi-task
- Good technical analysis and logical thinking, solution oriented
- Work and contribute effectively in an international team
- Good communication skills
