Job description:

** ADAS TEST ENGINEER - DRIVER - WORKING WITH A MAJOR UK OEM ON FULL DRIVERLESS ENGINEERING" **
We are working with a global leading OEM based in the West Midlands that is taking autonomous driving to the next level. 
This is a dedicated DRIVERLESS ENGINEERING  with the focus on delivering the technology to market. As companies want to secure a unique approach they are effectively developing their own technology to achieve that next generation of hands off  driving. This team has it all no more disjointed departments, no more just project managing suppliers this is full lifecycle development from concept to delivery to market under one team.

Core of the work will involve design, development and delivery of rig and / or vehicle test environments. 
Key to the delivery of ADAS components and Features will be the testing, verification and validation of systems in real time situations. New technology will require a creative and problem solving approach to develop the testing function. 
We are seeking candidates from across Europe and can help you make that transition into the UK. 
Your responsibilities:
-Supporting scheduling of tests on components or vehicle
-Prepare engineering vehicles for test, coordinate vehicle rework and address any issues
 during initial shakedown
-Manage test plans ensuring timely delivery
-Record and monitor data to ensure it is robust during test
-Complete a range of functional vehicle tests
-Collaborate with the System Engineers (matched pair) to understand in detail the feature
  and system and software requirements and review these requirements for testability. 
-Collaborate with the HIL Delivery Engineers, to define the interfaces and scripting language 
 between the test cases and HIL library / services.
-Responsible for creating the Test Cases, Sequences and Scripts (automated and manual) 
 from the system and software
-Responsible for carrying out and conducting the Test Cases, Sequences
-Overall responsibility for delivery by the Test Team of software and system validation on the 
  target to include the design, development and qualification of test environments and plant 
 models
-Determining and directing the testing of requirements and assigning tasks across the 
 Project Test Team
-Planning for future testing
-Fault finding in test results
-Offer solutions on fixing failed components/ vehicle
-Creating Design Verification Plans (DVP)


 Job Specific Skills
 - Electrical and Electronics Hardware and Software test
 - Awareness of a variety electrical technical skills.
 - Usually a specialisation in the field that they are focusing on testing e.g. Electronics Circuit
 - Design and Analysis, RF electronics, Power Electronics
 - Working with Electronics Instrumentation 
 - Writing Specification for Electronics
 - For test drivers: valid driving license and knowledge of ADAS features
