Job description:

The role of RSC (technically responsible) with this prestigious supercar manufacturer requires an experienced BIW (Body Structures) Design Engineer used to a dynamic environment. A dynamic and passionate character, you will have the resilience to work in a challenging environment with constantly changing requirements. This is an opportunity for an experienced Design Engineer to develop into a system responsible role and be technically responsible for taking components through from concept to completion. 

Pimary Responsibilities:
 - Understanding the setting constraints deriving from the development and progressive definition of product contents and providing feedback, defining scenarios in terms of impacts on the project;
 - Reaching of the assigned structural targets in terms of Crash, NVH and Durability;
 - Definition of the main strategies and technical specifications of the internal and external components of the BIW perimeter (for example, load size, crashes, structural funds, etc.) in order to maximize integration;
 - Design (CAD / CAE) and eventually experimental validation of objects aimed at demonstrating the reachability of a particular performance;
 - Management of relations with external suppliers of engineering, calculation, prototyping and experimentation;

Your Profile: 
 - Degree in mechanical engineering or vehicle or equivalent
 - Body Structures engineer with 3/5 years experience in the same role or in similar roles, with the specificities of the luxury and / or high performance car industry.
 - Excellent knowledge of aluminium technologies.
 - Excellent knowledge of the main missions dimensioning the BIW
 - Excellent reporting / synthesis capacity at different company levels;
 - Excellent problem-solving skills
 - Fluency in English and Italian (or willing to learn Italian)
 - Experience with calculation software and structural optimizations.
