Job description:

The role of RESPONSABILE DI IMPOSTAZIONE DI COMPONENTI is a senior role in pre development for a prestigious high performance car manufacturer. Your role will be to guarantee the pre-development of the component, and the implementation of the innovation plans, overseeing the phases of family and model setting in order to guarantee the development of the best components. This challenging posotions requires a design/simulation engineering background with project management experience. Specific component expertise in chassis, body structures, frame preferred, whole vehicle knowledge is essential. 

Primary Responsibilities - 
 - Ensure the robustness of the family and model setting for your perimeter 
 - Ensure the transversalization of the components to the shelf or to be developed on the family models (supervision of the components plan)
 - Coordinate the various innovation activities of the components of its perimeter
 - Support the preliminary implementation of the components foreseen for the family coming from the innovation plan
 - Ensure the definition of the best system / component archetypes using the concept selection card 
 - Ensure the achievement of the performance of its system 
 - Preside the planned model diversifications and verify their feasibility during the family setting
 - Ensure that there are no differences with the family setting in agreement with the Super RPA and the RPA, and in the case authorize using the appropriate modification form 
 - Manage the budget for external engineering and innovation activities requirements 

Your profile: 
 - Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or motor vehicle) 
 - At least 10/12 years experience in component development in the automotive sector (specific component expertise in chassis, body structures, frame preferred, whole vehicle knowledge is essential)
 - Experience with CAD systems for 3D modeling
 - Knowledge of specific simulation software
 - Result orientation and problem solving
 - Good interpersonal, communication and work skills in transversal teams
 - Fluent English - Italian fluent or with a strong predisposition to learn it
